What is included in our tour package?

01 night at Ngemah Ili Iban longhouse, 01 night at Hilton Batang Ai Longhouse Resort with breakfast for 02persons, land transfer, river transfer from Lubok Subong boat Jetty – Ngemah Ili longhouse, English speaking guide, longhouse taxes, traditional warrior and maiden dancer/dance performance, musician, short jungle walk, cock-fighting and blowpipe demonstrations, use of generator, 01 bottle of “Tuak” rice wine.

Tour Itinerary

Begins our day with a drives through Pan Borneo Highway passing through countryside for 4 ½ hours from Kuching to “Lubok Subong” boat jetty. We stop along the way to visit an excellent farmers’ market in Serian Town with lunch en-route. Continue by boat ride upriver for approximately 45 minutes to Ngemah Ili Iban Longhouse. Coffee and tea will be served on arrival. Feel free to join the longhouse community and learn on how they make baskets, mats or even show your skills in throwing the fishing net or refresh yourself swimming in the river before dinner. The Ibans people will sound their gongs and perform a traditional warrior and maiden dance for full welcoming ceremony. Overnight at “Ruai”.

Breakfast with Ibans families.  This morning witness the demonstrations of blowpipe and cock-fighting (without spur) and together with your tour guide to explore the surrounding forest trekking passing through the pepper and rubber plantations, your guide will show the plants and trees that are being used by the Ibans as medicine. Refresh yourself before return to the longhouse. Time to bid a farewell to the Ibans as we proceed downriver and continues by road to Hilton Reception Jetty. Proceed for ferry transferred across the lake to Hilton Batang Ai Longhouse Resort for check in. The remaining time is free at own leisure. Dinner will be served at Resort’s Restaurant.

This morning after your breakfast is free at own leisure until we transfer you back to Kuching.
